Chocolate or Poo...

My daughter followed me into the kitchen this morning. When I turned around, she had something brown and gooey on her fingers. I immediately smelled her fingers to make sure it wasn't what I think it was...Yes, I said it...I smelled her fingers...It didn't smell, so I washed her hands...and threw up in my mouth :)...We have been potty training, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was the other...She is a very curious girl. Then again, she doesn't like to be messy either. I did bake choc. chip cookies the other night...I am going to tell myself it was a choc. chip...Thank god she hasn't done Poo Art...

My wonderful, dh, bought be a Cannon Rebel SLR camera for Xmas. He said "If I am going to spend this amount, I would like for you to take a class"...I agreed and bought him a Play Station 3. I signed up for a basic class at the Parks and Recreation center. It was totally cheap and so worth it. Now, I officially understand my camera and the crap it allows me to do :D...It's freakinfantastic!!!! What do you think? Any readers?? Anyone, Anyone??

Crock Pot Lemon Chicken

A few months ago, dh and I bought a crock pot...We've been putting it off, but we finally bought one. Since I stay home with our daughter, I don't always (don't feel like) have time to cook and chase around a cute toddler ;)...So, the crock pot is the answer. I love to throw crap in and watch it cook for hours. The best part is that our house smells good with whatever the hell I am cooking...My first attempt is the obvious Pot Roast. My second attempt is Crock Pot Lemon Chicken. I hosted a Moulin Rouge party for my moms group. Since Moulin Rouge is french, I had to come up with a french style dish. So, I found this...http://www.easy-french-food.com/crockpot-lemon-chicken-recipe.html....It turned out freakinfantastic! However, the second time that I cooked it was just ok...It was great IMO, but DH thought I added too much lemon juice. My third attempt of making this delicious dish, I added too much Dijon Mustard...oops...So, note too self...follow the actual direction :)...enjoy the recipe for whoever reads my blog...Sorry no picture of my dish...

I wish I would have said this out loud to my dh, but I didn't. So, I am typing this out b/c I want to have a peaceful night. DH and I are trying to have another baby. Most women who ovulate only have a small window to create a human being. Apparently, my dh doesn't like to have just sex...it has to mean something. He knows that I have a small window of opportunity, so it's not ALL ABOUT HIM. This time, it should be about me. I am the one that carries the baby for 9 months. I should be able to tell my dh that our home work for the next THREE DAYS is to "get busy"...I get that it should be romantic and fun...but if I have to wait on dh to make it special...then, we missed our window to create a life...I don't have that much time to fuck around. I may still be 30, but I don't want to have another baby in my mid thirties...the opportunity is now...So, DH of mine if you are reading this..."IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU"!!!!!
